AVIS A LA POPULATION !!!!!!

On y croyait plus ! Un nouveau Tolkien va sortir, il a été commencé pas J.R.R Tolkien ( loué soit son nom toujours et a jamais ^^ ) et finit par son fils Christopher, il se nomme : Les Enfants de Hurin

Je vous mets le synopsis en anglais parce bon la flemme de traduire ^^ ( je le ferais ptêt plus tard ) :

The book is set approximately 6500 years before the events in The Lord of the Rings.

The eponymous character Húrin, a descendant of the House of Hador, is a leader of the human Edain in the realm of Dor-lómin. Húrin leaves his wife, Morwen, and his young son, Túrin, to join the gathering host of the Lords of the Eldar to overthrow the dark lord Morgoth. After the disastrous defeat of the Battle of Unnumbered Tears where Húrin himself is captured, Easterlings and Orcs overrun Hithlum and Dor-lómin. Morgoth himself personally torments the captured Húrin. Despite his efforts, Húrin defies and even scorns Morgoth. For this, Morgoth curses Húrin and his descendants.

Meanwhile, Morwen, fearing her son's capture by Easterlings as one of the last of the House of Hador, sends Túrin to the realm of Doriath for safety. Shortly afterwards, Morwen gives birth to a daughter, Niënor. In Doriath, Túrin is taken as foster-son by King Thingol and becomes a mighty warrior, befriending Beleg Strongbow as one of the march-wardens. However, one of Thingol's advisers, the elf Saeros, scorns Túrin for his mortal lineage, and later even ambushes Túrin. Túrin overpowers Saeros and strips him, chasing him at sword point to a ravine where, in attempting to jump, Saeros stumbles and dies on the rocks below. Túrin, proudly refusing to apologise for his actions, flees Doriath and enters the wilderness.

In the wilderness Túrin joins a small band of outlaws. At first they attack Men, Elves and Orcs alike, and after a chance encounter with a fleeing woman, a daughter of Larnach, Túrin becomes the outlaws' leader. Meanwhile, Thingol, who had previously thought Túrin the aggressor in the death of Saeros, and consequently banished him, hears the word of the maiden Nellas who witnessed the events and pardons Túrin for the act, even sending Beleg out to search for him.

When Beleg succeeds in tracking down the outlaw band, Túrin is not present, and the outlaws bind Beleg and deny him food and drink. When Túrin returns, he releases his friend and, blaming himself for his treatment, resolves to assault only the servants of Morgoth. On learning of Thingol's pardon, Túrin refuses to return to Doriath, and Beleg departs.

Some time thereafter Túrin and his men capture Mîm the Petty-dwarf, who ransoms his life by leading the outlaws to the caves in the hill of Amon Rûdh where he makes his home. The outlaws entrench themselves in the caves, though they enjoy tense relations with Mîm after one of Túrin's men slays Mîm's son Khîm. These tensions are further strained after a visit by Beleg, as Mîm has a natural hate of Elven-kind.

With the addition of Beleg, the outlaws become more daring and aggressive in their expeditions against Morgoth's troops. Túrin begins wearing the Helm of Hador, thus revealing his identity to Morgoth, who sends a horde of Orcs to capture Túrin. Mîm betrays the outlaws, revealing the outlaw's headquarters to Morgoth's forces. The outlaws are overrun by the Orcs' vast numbers, Túrin is captured, but Beleg escapes.

Beleg follows the company of Orcs, meeting a mutilated elf, Gwindor of Nargothrond, along the way. Beleg finds Túrin and releases him from his bonds, but Túrin, thinking him an Orc come to torment him, slays him before realising his tragic error. Gwindor leads Túrin to Eithel Sirion, the Beautiful Mere, where Túrin is able to grieve for Beleg. Gwindor and Túrin then journey to Nargothrond. There Túrin gains favor with King Orodreth and earns the love of the Elvish Princess Finduilas. After leading the Elves to great victories, he becomes the commander of all the forces in Nargothrond.

However, this does not last, as Morgoth sends a great force under the command of the evil and sadistic dragon Glaurung and defeats the army of Nargothrond on the field of Tumhalad, where both Gwindor and Orodreth are killed. Morgoth's forces sack Nargothrond and slaughter its populace. In the ensuing chaos Túrin encounters Glaurung, who manipulates Túrin into returning to Dor-lómin to seek out his mother and sister, when in fact they have already fled from Dor-lómin for the safety of Doriath.

When Túrin returns to Dor-lómin he finds it a desolate wasteland ruled by the Easterlings. There, from Húrin's kinswoman Aerin, Túrin learns that Morwen and Niënor have already fled for Doriath. However, Túrin incites a fight and Aerin's house is torched, forcing Túrin to flee once more. He tracks Finduilas' captors to Brethil, only to learn that she was murdered by the orcs when the Men of Brethil attempted to rescue her. Almost broken by his grief, seeks sanctuary among the House of Haleth, who maintain a tenacious resistance against the forces of Morgoth. In Brethil Túrin renames himself Turambar, or "Master of Doom" in High-Elvish.

He meets his sister Niënor there; not realizing their kinship, they fall in love and marry. Glaurung comes to exterminate the town and people of Brethil, but Turambar intercepts and kills the dragon by stabbing him in the stomache. But as Turambar pulls out his sword, Glaurung's poisonous blood scorches his hand, knocking him unconscious. A pregnant Niënor finds Turumbar lying unconscious, and her memory is sadistically returned to her by the dying Glaurung. Realizing in horror that her husband is also her brother, she throws herself off of the nearby cliff, into the river below, and is quickly washed away. When Turambar wakes and hears that Niënor is dead, he blames himself for her suicide and throws himself upon his own sword. Overjoyed by the slaying of Glaurung, the people of Middle Earth compose ballads celebrating Túrin's deeds and mourning his death. Morwen and Húrin, who has at last been released by Morgoth, travel to the burial mound of their children. Morwen dies at sunset, cradled in the arms of her long lost husband.

Pour l'instant faut le lire en anglais mais je pense que la traduction ne devrait pas tarder...

Bon bah, je t'ai déja remercier pour la nouvelle Frodon, mais merci encore tiens ^^

Vraiment hate de voir ce que cette merveille va donner ...

Ah mais oui, tu m'avais rendu le Step up ^^, mais pas le Silmarion XD, pourtant ...

Moi je l'ais lu aussi...C'était pas mal mais je préfère Bilbo le Hobbit ou Contes et légendes inachevées tongue

J'ai lu Bilbo le Hobbit et Legendes aussi, vraiment pas mal les deux ;-)

Moi aussi ^^ En fait j'ai tout lu il ne me manque plus que les Enfants de Hurin qu isortira peut être en français, mais saviez vous que Tolkien a écrit beaucoup plus que 3 tomes de Contes et Légendes inachevées mais que les éditeurs français ne veulent pas les publier. Ca me fout en boule ! Evil or Very Mad

J'ai aussi entendut parlé d'un roman qui s'appelerait "lettre au père noël" mais à vrai dire, le nom ne m'inspire pas trop ^^

"Lettre au père noël" ?

Wooaw ... Hard-core le titre ^^ Par contre, j'étais pas au courant pour les Contes et Légendes ... Les éditeurs peuvent toujours changer d'avis ?

), en parle :
